The ministry of Laus Deo Int. is dedicated to serving the Lord Jesus Christ. We adhere to and believe the Holy Word of God, the Bible as final authority and below is our statement of faith
We believe in One God, eternally existing in three Persons namely: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
We believe in the scriptures of the Old Testament and the New Testament, in their original writing, as fully inspired of God and accept them as the supreme and final authority for faith and life
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy spirit and born of the virgin Mary. We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man
We believe that God created man in His own image; that man sinned and thus incurred the penalty of sin – physical and spiritual death. All human beings inherit a sinful nature which issued [in the case of those who reach moral responsibility] in actual transgression involving personal guilt
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a substitutionary sacrifice in accordance with the Scriptures, God’s Holy Word, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His ascension into Heaven and His present life as our High Priest and Advocate
We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ
The angels said to Jesus’ disciples, “…this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” His coming is imminent. When He comes, “…the dead in Christ shall rise first, and then they (the born again believers) which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air…” (Acts 1:11; 1 Thess. 4:16,17). Following the tribulation, He shall return as King of kings, and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests; He shall reign a thousand years. (Rev.5: 10; 20:6).
We believe that all who confess and repent of their sin and receive the Lord Jesus Christ into their lives, by faith, are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers in the body of Christ for service, with the accompanying supernatural gifts of the Holy spirit; and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the divinely ordained five fold ministries of the Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Pastor and Evangelist
We believe in heterosexual relationships between a natural man and a natural woman within the confines of lawful matrimony. We believe that marriage is divinely instituted by God, and a divine union between a natural man and a natural woman in accordance with Genesis chapter 2 verse 24, and that there is a clear difference between a man and a woman living together and a man and a woman being legally married, as defined in the Gospel of John chapter 4 verse 18. We believe that homosexuality is a sin and any sexual relationship between a man and another man or any sexual relationship between a woman and another woman is a direct violation of God’s Kingdom values and His Holy Word [Leviticus 20:13, Romans 1:27]. Adherence to this stated principle of sexual behavior is an inherent requirement of membership of Laus Deo Ministries Int. as well as anyone who may wish to get married or be married by LDMI
We believe in the principle of submission to authority and being in authority because you are under authority. For this reason it is understood that Laus Deo Ministries Int. membership shall be subject to submission to authority in matters pertaining to church governance, doctrine, personal behavior and any other such matter(s) as the Holy Spirit may direct and show unto the founders of Laus Deo Ministries Int. and in line with the Holy Scriptures
We believe in the resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the eternal blessedness of the redeemed, and the eternal punishment and banishment of those who have rejected the free offer of salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ
We believe that the one true Church is the whole company of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ, through His blood sacrifice on the cross of Calvary, and regenerated by the Holy Spirit; that the local church on earth should take its character from this concept of the Church spiritual and therefore that the new birth and personal confession of Jesus Christ are essentials of church membership
We believe in the two ordinances as appointed and instituted by the Lord Jesus Christ, namely: Baptism in water (by immersion) and the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion). These two ordinances are to be observed as acts of obedience as well as a perpetual witness to the cardinal facts of the Christian Faith, that Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water as a confession of identification with Christ in burial and resurrection, and that the Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the emblems that are symbolic of the Savior’s broken body and shed blood, in remembrance of His sacrificial death, until He returns again
We believe that divine healing was provided for in the Old as well as the New Testament and that it is an integral part of the Gospel
We believe that the Scriptures, the Holy word of God, teaches that without holiness no man [person] can see the Lord
We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of the new birth and continuing until the consummation of salvation
We believe in obeying the statement as made by Jesus Christ and found in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 28 verses 19-20 which reads: “ Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen
